Our People

The Board of CER Group Ltd currently comprises three directors, all non-executive. The Chairman is also an independent director. Each individual brings a vital and unique background, ensuring the company develops with excellence in all areas of its operations.

Non-Executive Directors

Chairman, Evan Davies

Evan Davies took SKYCITY from a start-up, one-site, leisure and entertainment operator into one of New Zealand's largest and most diversified trans-Tasman operations.  Evan has a strong track record in driving business growth over a long period of time.  Evan sees his appointment as being in line with his long-held interest in sustainability.  In 2001, as Chair of the New Zealand Tourisim Strategy Group, Evan sought to balance tourisim industry growth against cultural, social, environmental and economic sustaimability.  Evan is currently Managing Director for Todd Property and is a trustee of the Anglican Trust for Woman and Children and the Melanesian Mission Trust.

Roger Gower

Roger is a widely experienced executive with considerable experience both internationally and in New Zealand. He has a BCom from Auckland University, an MBA from Massey University and a MPhil from Cambridge University. He operates a management consultancy business providing strategic advice and capital. 

He has a number of public company and private company directorships, including Gower Management Group Limited, Auckland Regional Transport Network Limited, Arno Investments Limited, Mitsui Credit Limited.
